I’ve used this a lot. It packs flat. Helps you control your light. You can use it to soften the light or redirect it light a snoot. Attaches pretty quickly and is very flexible and lightweight.

You should ALWAYS buy extra batteries for your camera. There’s nothing worse than being at the right place, at the right time to get the perfect image only to see your camera battery dead with no replacement. I’ll carry a spare (along with an extra memory card) around always. When I pop in the spare, I’ll charge the replaced batter at the NEXT possible chance I get. You can get manufacturer brand batteries (expensive) and you could take your chance with off brands. Some are good and some, not so good. I’ve found Wasabi batteries to hold their charge and be reliable. Search the link above to find your make and model. The higher the mAh rating number, the better.
